Clodout
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Overview
Clodout is a wardrobe and outfit organizer developed by Haseeb Niazi. This policy currently covers Clodout for Android, which stores user-created wardrobe data on the user's device.
Data stored on the device
Clodout stores the following data locally:
- wardrobe items and outfits;
- tags, notes, and descriptions;
- photos added to wardrobe items or outfits; and
- app preferences such as theme, layout, sorting, and export defaults.
This information is stored in the app's private database and app-managed photo storage, which are protected by Android's application sandbox.
Data collection
Clodout does not use accounts, analytics, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or a remote application server. The developer does not collect or transmit personal or sensitive user data from the app.
Data sharing
Clodout does not automatically share user data. Users may choose to export backups or outfits, save files to device storage, or share files through Android's system share sheet.
Depending on the options selected, exported files may contain wardrobe data, outfits, tags, notes, photos, photo references, and app settings. Files shared outside Clodout are controlled by the user and by the destination app or storage provider the user selects.
Backups and imports
Clodout supports full app backups, individual outfit exports, and selected outfit bundle exports. Restoring a full backup replaces current Clodout data with the selected backup. Other supported imports add outfits and may reuse matching wardrobe items.
Permissions and file access
Clodout does not declare dangerous Android runtime permissions. Photo selection and file access for imports and exports use Android's system pickers, file-opening intents, and sharing controls.
Security
App data is kept in Clodout's app-private storage and is subject to Android's device and application security protections. Clodout does not operate a server that receives this data. Users are responsible for protecting exported files after saving or sharing them outside the app.
Retention and deletion
Data remains on the device until the user deletes it within Clodout, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls the app. Users can delete individual wardrobe items and outfits, remove unused photos and tags with Clean Up, or delete all wardrobe items, outfits, tags, and saved photos at once with Reset wardrobe. Uninstalling Clodout removes its app-private local data as managed by Android.
Exported files saved outside the app are not removed when Clodout is uninstalled and must be deleted by the user from the location where they were saved.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when Clodout's data practices or features change. The current policy and its last-updated date will remain available on this page.
